YMSO’s second concert of the season kicks off with the charming overture to Engelbert Humperdinck’s Opera Hansel and Gretel. The orchestra welcomes soloist Rustam Khanmurzin for a performance of Prokofiev’s Piano Concerto No.3. The monumental Strauss tone poem Ein Heldenleben brings the concert to a rousing close.
